We are fundraising to provide non-toxic period care items to those in need!
In 2019 we implemented our Period Care Initiative with a goal to provide chemical-free period care products to young girls and domestic violence survivors within the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.
We’re gearing up to for our semi-annual initiative. From now until June 20, 2022, we’ll be collecting donations of non-toxic menstrual cups, pads, period panties, panty liners, and tampons.
Here’s how you can support:
- Ship pads to P.O. Box 438, Oxon Hill, MD 20750
- Grab items from Amazon: https://a.co/8Oe9zlA
- Do a supply drive to collect non-toxic period care items.
- Make a donation today.
- Become a drop-off spot for donations.
Did you know that, on average, an individual can spend $6,360 or more on period care products? Not to mention that many of those same products purchased were created with harsh and toxic chemicals. And, believe it or not, 1 in 5 teens, according to ThinxPiece, have struggled to afford period products or have not been able to purchase them at all.
